Italian Beauty and Duty Free Haul!

If you've read my last two posts you'll know that I've recently returned from a fortnight in Italy - if not you can read them here and here. I bought a few fashion pieces, and I'll be putting those in a separate haul.

Before I'd even boarded the plane I'd made a purchase. Well, why wouldn't you when everything's duty free, I mean, MAC reduced?!?

I was looking around the counter, and decided I needed a Paintpot. I asked the lady at the counter for Bare Study, but it was out of stock. So I settled on Rubenesque. £12.50 down I was ready to jump on the plane.

At a Newsagent in a nearby town - Caorle - I found this neon yellow nail polish for 2.50. It doesn't seem to have a name, and I've never heard of the brand, but I just fell in love with colour.

The Essence goodies, I found in a beauty store in Venice. The blush in Adorable was €2.99, it's a really pretty pink and I was quite shocked at how pigmented it was. The 3D eyeshadow was €3.49. I bought this in the shade 'irresistible caramel cream'. I also bought a nail polish from the Snow White range for €1.The last Essence product I picked up was the €2.79 lipstick in 'All About Cupcake'.

The day we went to Verona, we stopped off at an Outlet Mall on the way home. I saw a beauty shop called Pupa, and decided to have a look around. I've never heard of this brand and I have no idea what the products are like. But I spotted a little sale section, with all the products being €1. So I picked up three different eyeshadows. My favourite is definitely the sparkly copper colour in the blue packaging. The other two are matte browns, that are perfect for the crease! While at the till I spotted another €1 product, a neon nail polish, in a fluorescent orange colour.
I don't have many eyeshadow brushes, so when I spotted this one in a little pharmacy for €3.79 I thought I'd give it a go! It's from the brand Royal Beauty and looks really good quality.

Finally, at the airport I decided to have a browse of the YSL counter. And while I was there I bought my first YSL product! It's a gorgeous single eyeshadow in the shade Gold Leaf. I wear beigey gold eyeshadows everyday, so when I saw this in the sale I was more than intrigued. This was half price, so it was only €11.75 for a YSL eyeshadow!! Which is definitely a bargain in my books, especially when you include the exchange rate!

Have you got any of these products?
What have you bought recently?
