What I DON'T Want To Be When I Grow Up

It's fair to say I'm rather clueless when it comes to what I want to do in the future. I mean, I'd love to have a set career path in mind, but I don't. I don't have too many interests, and so looking at universities and their prospectus' is rather confusing to say the least. So instead, I though I'd compile a list of things I don't want to be when I grow up...

- an armpit/deodorant sniffer
- a dog food tester
- a crime scene cleaner
- a poop scooper
- a cinema screen cleaner
- a human scarecrow
- a paper folder
- a cushion plumper

No, but seriously, what am I going to do with my future? I don't know, and I don't think anyone else can tell me either, but if you have any suggestions then do let me know... And I'm sorry if I offended you if you do one of the aforementioned jobs aha

  2. Hahaha I wouldn't mind cinema screen cleaner, I'm sure you'd get discounts on popcorn yay! I know it seems like everyone knows what they want to do or at least has an idea they want to do but most people will end up doing something totally different with their lives. I hope I don't sound patronising when I say honestly, don't worry! We are young and the world is changing so much right now, who knows what new jobs will have been invented once we are old?! New jobs are created all the time, you could end up doing something that doesn't even exist yet! Try not to let the future scare you too much, a little scared is OK, but I hope you don't let it get you down and try to enjoy the ride! xoxo

  3. I have a similar problem, every time someone asks me what career I want to take I kind of just melt into my chair. I mean there's SO much you can do, how I can just pick one is impossible. The future's scary and the pressure others put on you to decide scares me just as much, I wish people would relax about it all. I totally agree with all these jobs though! xx

  4. Oh man, it's okay. Plenty of people don't know what they are really going to do in their lives. Including me! Just pick something you are interested in and pursue it, and it's okay to change! I enjoy technology and how it betters people's lives, so I am going into that field.

You don't always have to follow your hobbies either. I love writing and art; yet I know that if forced I would find them much less enjoyable.

    But enjoy the ride :D

  5. Hello,

I decided a long time ago to throw away any worries about what to do with life, my new ambition is to be happy and that is making me much happier than any other ambitions I've had.

Work on that then see where it leads you :)
