50 Shades

Nope, this isn't going to be a review of the infamous film that is currently splitting the nation. I haven't personally seen it, but from what I've heard it isn't that great. If you've seen it - I'd love to know what you thought of it.

Anyway, this Nailberry* polish in '50 Shades' is the closest I'm going to be getting to the trilogy. It's a gorgeous black shade, and it applies really well. It is on the pricier side at £13.50 apiece, but I have found it to last really well on the nails. I really like the packaging of these polishes, it's so simple and chic.

It is also free of; Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP and Camphor. Now, I'm going to be honest, I don't tend to look for that when buying a polish. I mean, yes it's obviously better for your nails or whatever, but it's never a necessity in my books. But since using this, I've figured it's probably best that I do - it applies no differently, which is something I was worried about.

  1. This looks really nice! I'll definitely have to check out this brand as I've been writing a series recently trying out some 'less toxic' polishes & this is one I hadn't heard of before :)

  2. This looks like a lovely shade and I love the undertones in it. I haven't seen or read it yet either and I think I'll just stick to the color grey.
