That Time Becca Attempted Extensions...

My hair; I would definitely say it's one of my defining features. It's rather long and naturally, incredibly curly. Although, it's only been the latter for a few years. I had silky straight(ish) hair throughout the entirety of my childhood, and only in the last couple of years has my hair resembled a lion's mane.

To be honest, I've never really thought about getting hair extensions. I mean, yes they can look great, but equally I've seen a fair few dodgy looking sets, and I've never deemed them worth the risk. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this 22" Body Wave* as it honestly matches my hair colour perfectly.

These are clip in extensions, and rather fiddly. I find them easiest to put in, if I section my hair off and put one piece in at a time. However, I find the aforementioned method is rather time consuming, so I don't think these are going to become an everyday step in my hair routine.

The extensions are actually 100% human hair, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about that aha. The more I think about it, the weirder it is to me. But I guess that's just personal preference...

In conclusion; I'm not sure if I'd buy another set in the future, as to be honest I can't really tell the difference between when they're in my hair or not. But that's probably got more to do with the fact that my hair is already rather long, than the extensions themselves. However, if you're looking for some extensions, these are incredibly soft and look really natural - so I'd definitely recommend giving them a go.

  2. You have such fab hair anyway you don't need extensions! Hair extensions are something I've never understood or gone for anyway! Just ergh no. And human hair ones? Shouldn't the human hair be donated to make wigs for people who have lost their hair through an illness? Not my thing personally! xo

  5. YOUR HAIR ANYWAY THOUGH?!?! I would definitely post the heart eyed emoji right here if I was on my phone?! It's absolutely gorgeous and you don't need ANY extensions at all. I love that wild, untamed, surly style hair and you TOTALLY rock it. So much so, I am VERY jealous!!!
