Maybelline Color Tattoo - On And On Bronze

Cream eyeshadows are my favourite things at the moment. The infamous mac paintpots started this whole obsession, and I've been trying different ones since. I'd heard so many good things about these, and for £4.99 I thought it was definitely worth trying one.

Okay, firstly, these feel a little dry and powdery but, the again they are still relatively creamy. If that makes sense?!  I tend to apply this with my ring finger, and just blend it all over my eyelid. I really like the shade, it's a gorgeous shimmery brown and it looks so pretty on it's own! It looks equally as lovely with some gold eyeshadow over the top and a darker shade in the crease.

As for lasting power, this definitely stays put all day, without too much fading. I think this is because it dries almost completely, as soon as you apply this. Packaging wise, I really like the little pots - they're so similar to the paintpots! These are really easy to remove, and don't leave any pesky glitter all over your lid - which if you ask me, is perfect!

So, for a fiver I'd definitely give one of these a go - but it's not quite as perfect as a paintpot.

What do you think of these?

  1. I've heard so much about these and I'm undecided. I've never tried a cream eyeshadow so I may just give it a whirl!
