DIY: Handmade Business Cards and Holder

I've been meaning to buy business cards for Becca's Fashion and Life for the longest time. And it's only the meet up in London tomorrow, that's made me realise I should really have bought some a long time ago. Why didn't I buy them when Moo had them for £2. But because my blog design is always changing, I'd always put it off. But this design is here to stay now!I just made the design on Picmonkey and added all the information I thought was necessary. I then printed them via the Windows image printing 9 to a page. However, once I'd designed the business cards I realised we didn't have any plain white card. This girl couldn't be stopped, so instead I used card that's white on the front and patterned on the back. I have 5 different patterns with each being floral or stripey. Definitely living on the wild side of life.
As for the holder I simply turned a piece of oilcloth fabric right sides together, then stitched down the left and right sides. For the fastening I cut up an old Primark bracelet and stitched the poppers to the case. I then made a bow out of a scrap of the material and a couple of pearly beads.

I'm really impressed with how these turned out and also how much money I managed to save!

What do you think of business cards?
Do you have any for your blog?

  8. They look amazing! I would have liked to see the back of the card, I'm intrigued by the idea of a patterned backing.
I went to a meeting once where one woman had used cardboard luggage tags to do her business cards on. That was super cool too and so creative.
