A Weekend With A Visitor...

On Friday morning my parents went to collect our house guest. On Friday afternoon, I rushed home, to meet him, and we dropped him off earlier at about 6.30.

Ralphie - our visitor - is a Cockerpoo. He is the cutest dog ever. He rarely barked while he was here - only when someone came to the door. He doesn't smell like a mangy dog. And, he'll play fetch with you whenever you fancy.

Yesterday, my Grandparents came over. We had a delicious fruity concoction, played fetch and just had a generally great time.

Today, we took Ralphie to the New Forest. He had a quick dip in the nearly-dried-up puddle, that is the stream. He loved it. We explored through the trees and he sniffed as much as he fancied.

Anyway, the point of this post was to show you how gorgeous Ralphie is, and to update you all as to what I've been doing recently. Hence the lack of posts/tweets/photos on Instagram.

After having Ralphie for the weekend, I've realised a few things:

  • I need to do more exercise. Specifically walking - my local area is lovely
  • Dogs are very loyal, which is lovely!
  • Canned dog food smells disgusting.
  • Picking up the pooch's poo isn't fun.
  • I'd love a dog!

If you ever get the opportunity to dog sit - do it!

  1. What a cute little house guest. Dogs are great. We have one, and he barks a lot, but we still love him. Helps when your dog is quiet though.
