Firmoo Glasses Review*.........

I was recently contacted by the online optician Firmoo, to see if I wanted to try out a couple of pairs of their glasses, and I thought I'd let you all know how I got on....

To start off with, I was asked to choose the frames. This alone was a struggle as there were so many different styles, and I obviously couldn't try them on in person. But in the end I settled for a pair of tortoise glasses and some Rayban style sunglasses.

As for my prescription, I simply took a photo of it and uploaded it to my account. Firmoo have a team of staff that sort out the photos and work out your prescription for you. One thing that wasn't on my prescription was my 'Pupillary distance' (as Firmoo calls it) so I simply rang up my normal opticians to find that out.

So, onto the actual glasses. As you can see the tortoise pair are gorgeous. They're really light and good quality, considering they retail for $16. My prescription is perfect, so definitely no worries there!

The other pair, however look awful on me and I didn't want to include a photo of me wearing them, but I guess it's always a risk getting glasses without trying them on. But, they are very well made, and would be perfect if my face was a different shape!

Firmoo are currently offering a 'First Pair Free' programme, which entitles every new customer to a free pair of glasses, but you do have to pay for the shipping costs.

What do you think of Firmoo?
Do you wear glasses?

  1. I've seen quite a few people review Firmoo, and they're all positive! I think I'm definitely going to look into trying my first pair for free. I wear contacts almost every day because I dislike my glasses so only wear them when I'm at home all day!
