Revlon vs Models Own

I'd never tried a lip crayon before the release of Revlon's Matte Balms. As soon as I saw the shades they were releasing I knew Elusive had to be mine. When I went to purchase it, I couldn't find it in stock anywhere. Anyway, a couple of weeks later Models Own were hosting their infamous 50% off sale, and I spotted Beauty Blush in their Lipstix collection. So, for today's post I thought I'd do a little comparison, as they're really similar but also completely different.

Shade wise, I'd say they were pretty similar, with Elusive just being that tiny bit darker. Their packaging is also rather similar but I feel like Revlon's offering is slightly sturdier. They both have quite distinct scents. Models Own: A soapy, fruity, concoction. Revlon: A refreshing mint.

One is rather shiny on the lips, and the other is completely matte. No points for guessing which is which! As for lasting power, I would say they last about the same amount of time, so nothing really to comment on here.

Price wise, Beauty Blush is a couple of Pounds cheaper. But, in conclusion, I think I personally prefer Elusive as you can't beat a good ol' matte lip!
