The Gift Guide With A Twist...

I've been thinking of doing a series of Christmas gift guides for a while now, but I know that lots of other people are posting theirs at the moment. And I mean, there are only so many gift sets you can look at, so I thought I'd do something a little bit different. Instead, these are all products I've either received as gifts or bought for myself over the last few months...

Mac Lipstick // Mac Paintpot
I feel like you can't go wrong with a Mac lipstick. They're not too high end, nor cheap drugstore products, so they're perfect for gifts. I like that picking the shades for the recipient is what makes this gift that bit more personal. Unsure on what shade of lipstick? - go for a nude, such as Creme Cup. What about a Paintpot? - Ruebenesque is my all time favourite product!

Benefit Sets
I love Benefit products. But I love their gift sets even more. They're so well packaged, and I love that each one comes with a whole variety of products. Each set is so different, and there's definitely one suit everyone! My sister has the lipgloss set which she loves, so that's another one to look out for - especially for people that aren't that into makeup.

Nails Inc Polishes
Another favourite of mine, is these infamous polishes. These make such lovely presents, as at £11 each, they're not the sort of product you treat yourself to every week. Similarly to the Mac products, these can be such personal presents, and I love the idea of picking out shades for individual friends or family members!

Magazine Subscription
Company is my favourite magazine. It's so relevant and I think it's really interesting to read! There's always a fashion post, a nail tutorial and other lovely articles hidden amongst each issue. One thing I hadn't realised, was that subscribers receive their issues days before they hit the shops - perfect!

Have you bought any gifts yet?
What's on your wishlist?

Finally, I thought I'd just mention that H.Samuel* currently have 25% off top brand watches online and in stores until the 3rd December. Including brands such as Casio and Timex.

  2. I like how this is a little different :) I feel like gift sets can sometimes be quite impersonal and these treats seem more specialised to each person! I'd love a magazine subscription :) xx
