- cut out all of the negative ninnies. You know the ones, the ones who don't make your days better. The ones who don't always want the best for you. The ones who don't want you to succeed.
- make plans. Having something to look forward to always makes a dull week more bearable. They don't even have to be big things, just things that you enjoy.
- take time out. Have some 'me time'. I know it sounds cliché, but it works. Watch the High School Musical trilogy with a tub of Ben and Jerry's, or read a whole stack of magazines.
- exercise. I know it's not everyone's idea of fun, but I find I always feel much better after I've worked out.
- switch off. Every once in a while it's nice to take a step back from social media. I mean, do you actually care about someone's high score in Crossy Road or what so and so had for breakfast. I feel like with social media comes a whole host of jealousy. Look what they're doing. look what they can afford, look how great their life is... Jealousy is toxic. And so, I'd definitely recommend logging off every once in a while.
