Snow.

"Due to adverse weather conditions, school is closed." - Definitely the best thing to hear on a cold snowy Friday morning. Here in the South of England, we've had lots and lots of snow, which rarely happens. I mean I think we tend to have one lot of snow a year! So compared to other people snow really is an exciting thing for us.

Anyway, so yesterday - Friday- I woke up at half six about to get ready for school. I looked out of the window and there was literally snow everywhere. To which I hurriedly checked my school's website and our school was shut because of it! Hooray!

So, I went and woke my little sister up to tell her the good news - her school was also shut! We both hurriedly piled on the thermals, socks and coats, and went for a walk.

Later in the day I made snowmen, had snowball fights and just all round snow festivities, with my school friends! Which was such a laugh.
