2014 & 2015

2014 was such a great year for me. I made some truly wonderful friends who I love more than anything, visited some incredible places, made some great memories, got a job and finished school forever.

2014 saw me have the longest summer holiday of my entire schooling life... An entire 10 weeks with no regimented routines, it was bliss. I filled the summer with days out, parties, sleepovers, exercise?!?!?!?!?!? and so much more.

In 2014 I saw a few of my favourite groups with my favourite people; Bastille, The Kooks, Bombay Bicycle Club. In August my family and I spent a fortnight in Orlando, and it was incredible.

I don't really have any resolutions for 2015 other than just be happy - which is incredibly cheesy and cliché - but it's a reasonable aim.

I'm going to start running again, as it's fair to say the other day I had a rather big wake up call. Ed and I were shopping, and after climbing a couple of flights of stairs I was puffed out. And I know I shouldn't be admitting such things on the internet, but hopefully the embarrassment will spur me on to do something about it.

This year I want to surround myself with positive people who only want what's best for me, and so far so good. I have quite a few things to look forward to in the coming 12 months;
- Learning to drive
- I'm seeing Ed Sheeran at Wembley
- John and I are hopefully going to Reading Festival
- My family and I are off to Orlando

The 'bae' and I broke up in November, and I hadn't expected it to be so difficult. But that's in the past now, so onwards and upwards. I'm definitely happier now than I was back then, and we're really good friends again now. So there you have it, that was my year, I'd love to hear how 2014 was for you

  9. Driving lessons are top of my list this year! I can't believe I'm 24 and still cannot drive! But living in London and working on the trains, I've just never needed to... Enough of the excuses, it needs to happen :'D
    I cannot wait to see more of your blog this year and more life posts please :D
