The Nail Art Gift

Another gift idea with a twist for you today, with today's edit being for the nail art lover. But rather than buying a ready made gift set, here's a gift with a more personal touch...

Firstly, the jar was only a couple of pounds from Ikea, and I think it makes such a nice change from a gift box or bag. I added the ribbon and heart myself, just to make it that bit more festive.

The nail wheels and dotting tools are both from Ebay, and again were a couple of pounds. The polish is where the personal part comes in. You can pick shades for the lucky recipient, that you know they'll love. Or, perhaps a standard set of nail art colours - such as a white, a pink, a black and a blue.

These can be from any brand, depending on your budget. I love Nails Inc polishes, but a few shades would set you back £33, so definitely not the brand to pick for a budget gift. Sinful Colors polishes are lovely, and I'm also a fan of NYC's offerings.

Seche Vite is my favourite topcoat at the moment, it's really glossy and quick drying, which is why this is the last item in my little nail art gift idea.

Have you ever made your own gift sets?
Do you like nail art?
