Dolly, MUA Cream Blusher Review

I love cream blush. I think it looks so natural, but it's also the easiest thing to apply. I mean, if you apply too much, blend some powder over the top. Too little? Stipple a little more on. I've been loving Bourjois' cream blush in 01, and when I spotted this in a little Superdrug, in London, I thought it could be a nice alternative.

Before I start, I think I should probably mention the price - £2. Whaaaaat. That's crazy! I mean, a small tall, salted caramel hot chocolate from Starbucks is £2.80. The packaging is probably the only thing that reflects the price, as it's a little dull and cheap looking, in my opinion. However, other than that, this is definitely worth much more than its measly price tag.

The compact is quite hard to get into, and I have chipped many a nail getting into this, but I guess this means it'll never pop open in my makeup bag, which is great! The formula of this blush is really soft and creamy - and dries relatively matte on the skin. The shade Dolly contains no shimmer and is just a subtle peachy pink.

I like to apply this with a small stippling brush, on the apples of my cheeks, and then blended up along my cheekbones. It looks really natural when first applied, but layer on a little more, and you have a perfect pretty shade.

I find this lasts more or less the whole day, but it definitely begins to fade slightly around the 6 hour mark, which is nothing a quick touch up can't fix. Also, I find this is a great base for applying a powder blush over the top - a primer if you will.
