Ashleigh and I before the Meet up

On Saturday I attended a lovely meet up at The Orange Rooms, Southampton. But before I arrived I met up with Ashleigh - who writes Magazines and Models - and we had a mooch around West Quay. We wandered around the beauty section of John Lewis to our hearts content. Cue wishlist growing with every swatch. We then met Holly outside Boots, and walked to our venue for the afternoon. I had a fab time at the meet up, so thank you Hannah for organising it all!

The observant readers amongst you may have realised that my hairs a little different... Well, I've had it highlighted and I'm still getting used to it! So, if you have any deep conditioners/hair mask recommendations do let me know!

Finally, the piece de resistance...........
I'VE BOUGHT MYSELF A DSLR! Aaaaah, I'm so excited to learn all its functions and use it in my upcoming posts! I went into the shop adamant I wanted a Canon 600d. But, the Canon man recommended the 100d, as it's a smaller, faster and newer version. So, I went with his advice, and I love it!!!! If you have any top tips or tutorials for DSLR noobs do let me know!

On Saturday 31st, I'm going to London with the lovely Jaye and Holly. We're also going to the meet up Sophie's arranged, so if you're going let me know! It'd be lovely to meet you!

What have you been up to recently?

  6. Ooh, that camera does look tiny! I have a 500d and it seems so big compared to how that one looks! I would say, when using a DSLR, stick to manual and get used to the settings that way! Auto never looks great (with the annoying flash randomly popping up and ruining photos!)
