DAINTY DOLL AT POUNDLAND

I should have got someone to capture the look on face when I noticed these hanging up in a local Poundland.

I remember the hype around the Dainty Doll products whilst they were for sale on Fragrance Direct. But I never got around to buying anything, and by the time I'd decided I needed some Dainty Doll Products, all the things I liked were out of stock.

In the Poundland I bought these from, they had 3 eyeshadows to choose from. A beige, a dark brown and an aqua blue - or so it said on the label.

I didn't buy the blue as I tend to stick very neutral when it comes to eyeshadow. But the other two were definitely going in my basket!

After I'd paid for these I got them out of the boxes to have a look at them, and it turns out 001 Frankie Girl - the 'beige' - is an eyeshadow base. Which is great, as I don't have very many cream eyeshadows!

I know my Stila at Poundland post is one of my most popular to date, so I thought I definitely should update you all, with this Dainty Doll news, as we all love a good bargain!

I haven't used these properly yet, but when I have, expect a full review!

  4. They're great aren't they! My Poundland had about ten different colours, but they were all so bright. I picked up the neutrals too though!

  6. Wow, lucky you! My Poundland used to be great for finding good brands, products ect. They've changed it around now, not impressed. Have you tried a Dainty Doll blush before? I own "My Girl", I love it, it's a beautiful barbie pink! xx

  9. I don't know why they've decided to discontinue Dainty Doll, I only have a few of the blushers but there's nothing wrong with them at all I think they're nice. I guess maybe what they charged for them was too much. I wonder if they will bring out new products in the future or whether that's it completely.
