The London Haul

London is honestly one of my favourite places to visit. It's not overly difficult to get to, and I enjoy going on the tubes far more than I probably should. I'm not sure why, but there's just something really great about the whole experience for me. One of the things on our summer bucket list is 'shopping spree' and so obviously when in Rome London, it seemed like the ideal opportunity to tick another off the list.

Zara Playsuit - £9.99
I remember seeing this online quite a few weeks ago, and just falling in love. The straps are so 90's and it fits really nicely. It's really loose and comfortable - yet it's still incredibly flattering.

H&M: White Crop Top - £3.99
Grey Cardigan - £7.99
Floral Kimono - £12.99
I've been after a kimono for what feels like the longest time, but I just couldn't find one I really liked... Until now. I really like the print of this H&M one, plus it's not too floaty. Hooray.

Brandy Melville Shorts - £15
Yes. My Dad and I ventured to the infamous Brandy Melville. It was a magical experience. When I saw these shorts I was worried as they literally look like they're made for a toddler - they have a 'one size fits most' rule, if you weren't aware. But luckily they fit, and keep both my bum cheeks and dignity in place.

Forever 21 Top - £7
I was definitely underwhelmed by Forever 21. I was expecting to leave with bags of gorgeous pieces for my holiday. But I did manage to find this gorgeous top. I absolutely love the neckline, and I must say I am rather fond of a bit of crochet.

H&M Denim Shorts - £12.99
I've definitely found my perfect shorts. They're made of a stretchy denim, they're a great length - not too long, not too short - and they're also high waisted. I really like the wash of them, plus they look great with the aforementioned kimono.

H&M: White Cropped Tshirt - £3.99
Black Racerback Top - £2.99
Cream Racerback Top - £1.99
Black Crop Top - £3.99
It suddenly dawned on me the other day that my basics were sort of lacking. I mean, I'm sure I have a couple of faded cami's somewhere, but definitely not enough for my liking. I can guarantee you now that I'll wear these all summer, literally.

Primark: Black Tee Dress - £5
White Cami - £2
Yet more basics... I'm obsessed I tell you, obsessed! Oh, and look. even more monochrome pieces. The tee dress is so casual and easy to wear, but it looks surprisingly put together - despite esentially just being an oversized tshirt.

Topshop Black Ribbed Crop Top - £8
I've literally seen everyone and their sister in these recently, but with my new found love for basics, I couldn't not buy it. It's such a simple piece, but I genuinely really like it.

And there we have it, my most recent purchases. I should probably halt my spending, considering we're off to America in the not too distant future...

I might have to go hunt this down! :) one lil thing, what is wrong with brandy melville? cos you've said it's infamous and infamous means famous for a bad reason, but then you've said good stuff about it? x

    1. Yeah, you definitely should - it's a great day out.
Ooooh, let me know if you fo!

Well, I think the whole 'one thing fits most' sparked quite a lot of controversy, as it's very clear they only want certain body shapes/sizes wearing their clothes... But I personally don't have a problem with it, as it often works the other way around too.
