What's In My Makeup Bag?

T-B: ESSENCE ADORABLE BLUSH // ESSENCE IRRESISTIBLE CARAMEL CREAM EYESHADOW  // COLLECTION TALLULAH LIPSTICK

Back when I posted my last what's in my bag post, I mentioned that I'd post about the contents of my make up bag separately, as I didn't particularly want to swamp you all with a mammoth essay. The make up bag itself, I made myself a while ago from some oilcloth fabric I had laying around and an old zip. I really like the print very Cath Kidston - the only major difference being this literally cost me nothing to make. Perfect!

First up, I carry around my Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara as it's a really handy travel size, and I'm really loving this mascara at the moment. It's definitely got a drier formula to most other mascaras I've tired, but I absolutely love the massive wand! It makes it so easy to apply this in a rush without having to worry about each individual lash.

As I've mentioned quite a few times, I don't wear foundation or BB, CC, or DD cream on a daily basis, however I do carry around a little Lancome foundation sample 'just in case'. I'm not entirely sure which specific foundation this is but whatever it is, it's a really good match to my skintone and lasts a really long time on my skin!

Next up is Essence's blush in Adorable. It's a really velvety powder blush in the perfect pink shade. I bought this while in Venice over the summer, but rumour has it Essence products are currently available in some Wilkinsons stores, so I definitely recommend you have a little look! I also carry around this blush brush from M&S.

MUA's Clear Mascara. When it comes to my eyebrows I tend to lightly fill them in with a powder. The powder stays put throughout the day, however slowly but surely my brows become more and more wild. Which is why this £1 beauty is so handy.

A goldy brown neutral eye is my go-to look, so Essence's Irresistible Caramel Cream is the perfect compact for me! I also bought this in Italy, and this was only about 4 Euros! The eyeshadows are so shimmery without giving the whole disco ball effect - which is a definite no no for me. Along side this I use ELF's Eyeshadow Brush which was only £1.50 - what a bargain! Quality wise, it's nothing to write home about, but for £1.50 it's perfect for keeping in my makeup bag!

Finally, the last thing is my current lipstick of the day. Which as the moment is Collection's Talullah. It's a beautiful creamy dusky pink. This was only £3.00 and I've literally used it so much this past week!

So, there you have it, the current contents of my makeup bag! As you can see, I'm a very budget beauty kinda gal, but my high end wishlist is forever growing!
