Sleep In Rollers Review.....

They're in! ~  Morningggggg.  ~  The end result.

I'm sure everyone and their dog has heard of Sleep in Rollers*, and I've recently been sent a set to review. My hairs a frizzy curly mess, and I'd hoped these curlers would make my hair more sleek and give me a more shiny curl. But more on that later...

I washed my hair, let it partially dry naturally, applied a hair serum then put these curlers in. These rollers are just like the typical roller - except they're squishy and made of foam! Perfect. Although, when it came to actually sleeping it was still quite uncomfortable as I'm not used to wearing curlers. So, yes, they do flatten down, but yes, you can still feel them.

When, I woke up the next morning, and unravelled these bad boys, I was a bit let down. Having endured an uncomfortable nights sleep, they didn't particularly curl my hair. They sort of straightened the parts I used the curlers on, so it looked a bit silly, so I tied my hair up in a messy high ponytail.

However, I loved how my hair looked while tied up, as it just looked so effortless. I'll definitely be using these if I'm in all day, so I can let my hair dry completely naturally and then just take them out and use some hairspray. Especially as there's no heat involved, as I don't really want to damage my frizzy hair to much more.

Have you tried Sleep in Rollers?
What do you think of them?

Disclaimer - Obviously, as I already have a crazy barnet, my opinions and experiences  might not be the same as yours, and I'm not saying that these won't work for you.

  5. I got these for christmas, I've used them a few times but never overnight, only during the day when I haven't had to go out anywhere :) The results just made my hair a bit wavy and appear fuller at the top of my head - which isn't too bad i suppose! :)
