However, last year's decorations aren't quite making the cut this year - so I decided to make a few myself! These bows are really easy to make so I thought I'd show you how to make them!
You will need:
- Fabric
- Scissors
- Sellotape
- Chritmas Decoration Hooks
- Cut a large rectangle of fabric, mine was 8cm by 18cm. Then cut another rectangle out but make this one 1cm by 18cm. Alternatively you could use a piece of ribbon.
- Fold the edges of the larger rectangle under to ensure the sides don't fray. I used sellotape t keep them in place.
- Fold the material in half to make a square.
- Fold it in half again to make a rectangle.
- Take the thin piece of fabric and tie it round the larger piece.
- Knot it a second time to ensure it stays in place.
- Trim the excess
- Then use the Christmas decoration hooks to attach the bow to your tree.
These are really simple to make but I think they look really cute! They're also one of the cheapest DIY's ever!
Let me know if you have a go at making these!
you are so good at this! This is a great idea!
