Benefit's High Beam Review......

Today I'm going to be reviewing Benefit's High Beam. It's a highlighter for the face and I truly love this product.

I received this product in a Glamour magazine ages ago. Despite being a £2 magazine, it included this deluxe 4ml sample.

Anyway, those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about... High Beam is a highlighter for the face. It's a pinky liquid that you apply where you want the light to hit and reflect from. For example, on your cheekbones, browbone and cupids bow.

I personally apply this to my brow and cheek bones. I put a couple of dots on my cheeks with the brush in the lid, and just blend it out with my finger, to give a natural finish to the face.

I don't tend to wear powder or foundation on a daily basis, so a little bit of this product really helps
to give my face a radiant glow. Which also, means I'm not too sure what it looks like over foundation. However there are so many good reviews of this product it must look great!

This is what, quite a large blob looks like on my hand. I hardly blended this out, otherwise you wouldn't see it on camera. It truly is a perfect highlighter. When properly blended in it looks really pretty and subtle.

I love Benefit products, but most of them I don't tend to have an interest in, because in my opinion, they are a bit too expensive. But, this is one of the products I'm tempted to look at getting in a full size. It is £18.50, but definitely worth it!

Saying that I have seen many a dupe for this product, so I'm very interested in trying a few out. Look out for a blog post coming soon...

And finally what Benefit says: "Our satiny pink liquid highlighter accents cheek & brow bones for a radiant glow. Use as a spot highlighter or delicately blend all over your complexion. Looks perfectly radiant on all skintones. It's the "supermodel in a bottle"! "

High Beam is available to buy here.

  4. I have this in Sun Beam, I love the packaging and the pay off. Its expensive but so worth it! ELF makes a decent dupe of the High Beam in their Shimmering Facial Whip, I think its like 3ish dollars.
