Nail Tutorial: Pop of colour.

Today,  thought I would write my first nail tutorial. It's very simple, but I personally think it is really effective.

 It requires:
  • A nude/neutral skin coloured nail polish
  • A bright nail polish
  • Nail varnish remover- to clean around the edges of your nails if needed
  • Base and topcoat.

To start off apply a basecoat, I use any clear polish.

Next apply your nude polish. I applied 2 coats of Nails Inc's "Basil Street" too make sure it was opaque.

I then applied the bright colour- a 17 hot pink- on the tips of my nails to add a pop of colour.

You could keep every nail the same or alternate different colours on the tips.

I then applied a topcoat too ensure it stayed on my nail, for longer without chipping.

I know this nail tutorial is basic, but you've got to start somewhere, eh?

  1. Do you recommend nails inc? i have a heafty nail varnish collection, and i'm always weary of more expensive ones because I don't like the idea of spending a large amount and then just putting them to the back of my collection!
Very good post, i think it would look good with blue/turquoise tips!xx
