In one of my recent posts I mentioned that I'm currently trying to eat more healthily and do more exercise. Also in that post I explained the reason; climbing a flight of stairs had me panting at the top. Okay, so maybe I wasn't panting, but you can probably see the issue here, I'm just lazy. 

But recently I've been trying to sort that out. I've been doing the 30 day ab challenge, which is a free app, and essentially it just tells you how many of each exercise to do each day. The four on this app are; sit ups, crunches, leg raises and the plank. I tend to just turn some loud music on and just power through them. I found it painful to begin with, but now that I'm used to it it's not an issue. 

I've also been doing a couple of Blogilates workouts recently. We have a Chromecast downstairs, so I tend to put my gym gear on and follow along in the lounge. The two main ones I've been doing are the Summer Sweatfest and the Lowe Belly Flattener. Another Youtube video I wanted to mention is the Zumba version of Waka Waka - I like to do that as a warmup.

Last summer I used to love going out running, but I'm yet to venture outside in my gym gear this year. I mean, it's cold, rainy and gloomy - where's the fun in that?

  4. i went to the gym for the first time yesterday. Im so determine this year to tone up for summer! I like doing a lot go youtube workouts too!

  6. I am totally with you on not wanting to leave the house in the freezing cold rain! I recommend the YouTube channel Fitness Blender if you want some other good at home workouts, they always help me to get my fitness levels up when I go through my periodic "I'm so unfit" phases!

  7. There's a zumba version of Waka Waka?! Please tell me where to find it I need it in my life haha! I hate leaving the house in the cold, I keep trying these 30 day challenges but I'm awful :( I'm not giving up though I keep doing the 30 days of yoga just with a few days break in between... I'll get there though! xo
