Layering

I'll only be wearing school uniform for the next few weeks, then after that, everyday is a mufti day. I'm both excited and nervous - picking outfits at weekends is hard enough. So choosing what to wear will soon become a daily struggle. So in the mean time, I'm trying to accumulate some more basic pieces...

I haven't worn this skirt since last summer,and to be honest, I'd sort of forgotten about it. It's such a lovely wash of denim, and I have a feeling it's going to be a firm favourite of mine over the next few months...

Quite a few people have been coveting the checkered shirt around the waist thing recently - namely Cara Delevingne. And I wanted to give it a go myself - and I actually quite like it. It reminds me of the nineties, plus it's rather convenient if you start feeling a little chilly. Am I sixteen or sixty?
