Models Own Beauty Blush Lipstix

I didn't know that Models Own sold makeup products. Yep, I thought they just sold their infamous polishes, and now I've tried a few - I can see why they're so popular! After the release of Revlon's Matte Balms I've been lusting after a shade or two, but when I spotted this beauty on MO's website I thought it was time I gave one a go. (Especially considering this was half price.)

Packaging wise, this isn't the chicest looking product on the market, but the shade more than makes up for that. It lasts a relatively long time on the lips, and it glides on really smoothly. it does cling to dry patches, but that's nothing a good lipbalm can't solve.

One thing I must say is that this has a strange scent. It's relatively pleasant, but nothing to write home about. So, at £5 each I would definitely recommend having a swatch of one of these as they're just so lovely.

Have you tried any of these Lipstix?
What do you think of this shade?

  2. I noticed they sold makeup in their 50% online sale but had no idea before that! I didn't get any as was a bit dubious after seeing the packaging, which like you say isn't the best, but actually this is a lovely colour on you! x

  7. I only knew they sold makeup products after picking up one of their goody bags from The Clothes Show one year. I'll admit I haven't actually used most of it as it got lost in amongst other things but I do use the lip balm I got in there and it's one of the best I've ever used. I tweeted them afterwards to ask if you could buy the balm but apparently not as it was a special just for The Clothes Show :(
