February Favourites

Well February passed by in the blink of an eye. Can you believe Valentines day was 2 weeks ago?! Nope, me neither. February for me, makeup wise, has been all about highlighters. The cold, wintry weather always leaves my skin looking really dull, which is nothing a good moisturiser and a blend of highlighter can't fix.

This month I've been loving my Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette as well as the usual Watts Up from Benefit. As always, I've been loving my cream shadows this month. But the shade I've been reaching for most is my Holy Grail - Mac's Rubenesque. It's such a pretty shade and I love how it looks with the shadows in my Naked 2 palette.

Lipstick wise, you can't beat YSL's Rouge Volupte Shine in Corail In Touch. It's such a pretty shade, and the packaging is perfect. I've had Models Own's Pink Veneer on my nails recently, and I love it. It's from the new hypergel collection, and I can see why - it's such a glossy colour.

Origin's Clear Improvements is definitely my go-to face mask. I love how it leaves my skin looking and feeling, it's lovely. A new toner I've been using recently is one from Simple. It's very basic, but it leaves my skin feeling really clean.

Have you tried any of these products?
What is your favourite highlighter?

  1. That YSL lipstick looks so gorgeous! I've only just got the Urban Decay Flushed palette but I can tell it's definitely going to be one of my favourites for March.

  5. Rubenesque is such a gorgeous shade. I'm afraid it will be too pink-toned for me but at the same time, I can see myself loving it if it works for my skin tone. I'll have to test it out at the MAC counter next time I stop by. xx
